De-Pigmentation Treatments
Service Description
We use several means to remove unwanted pigmentation We use a proprietary blend of skin whitening chemicals that are delivered directly to the layer of the skin that contains melanocytes. We use a microneedling device that also has RF technology. Radiofrequency energy makes the skin more porous without heating it up. At the same time multiple tiny reciprocating needles create over thousand tiny stab wounds to the skin every second, thus opening up thousands of tiny pores through which liquids can penetrate to the deeper layers of the skin. Pigment reduction occurs via two processes. Firstly, the micro needles cause physical injury to the melanocytes which are destroyed and over the next few weeks are removed by the body's own macrophages. Secondly, the substances in our proprietary blend reach the remaining melanocytes and inhibit the production of melanin in these cells. Over the next few weeks, you will note that there is a visible lightening of the skin. As well as this, the controlled skin injury from the microneedles kick starts the body’s own repair mechanisms. This results in a cascade of events within your skin that eventually results in production of natural collagen and elastin in the dermis which leads to a much more firmer, younger, fresher, smoother looking skin, with much less wrinkles and reduced pigmented spots, a more toned skin with much less chance of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. We also use the Dermamelan Depigmentation method: Dermamelan® is the medical depigmenting method that efficiently and progressively eliminates spots by acting on the accumulation of pigment in the skin and on the root of the problem, providing a comprehensive and long-lasting outcome. The treatment consists in a first session in consultation and a home treatment that lasts 4 months in consultation phase. Following a proper diagnosis, the treatment begins with a first session in the medical consultation. The professional applies two masks with an intensive depigmenting action at home phase. Continue the treatment following a home guideline. It consists in applying complementary cosmetic products for 4 months with a continuous depigmenting action and long-term regulation of pigment overproduction.
